   a rare and exciting look at the life of dinosaurs through
 their    eggs,   nest and  embryos       in Hatching   the  Past.&nbsp;
 This remarkable hands-on exhibition offers an astounding
  array of authentic dinosaur eggs and nests collected from
all over the globe-including those of each of the major plant
 and meat-eating dinosaur groups.&nbsp; Hatching the Past presents
   new discoveries     about  dinosaur reproduction        and behavior.&nbsp;
   Although dinosaur eggs were first recognized in the 1920&#8217;s,
their scientific significance was not fully appreciated until
 the end of the 20th century. Today dinosaur eggs are recognized
   for their enormous scientific value and for offering fascinating
  details and fresh insights into the behavior, growth and evolution
    of dinosaurs. Free and open to the public.&nbsp; 505-522-3120.

 Reinhard's preferred medium is printmaking. His subject matter
   often critiques the beliefs and values of traditional society
  in a crisp and satirical style. His subjects are often strange
creatures reminiscent of childhood monsters or imaginary friends.
 Yet his palette is quite playful, showing an artistic sensibility
 that lures the viewer into each piece. Reinhard is truly successful
 at combining  cultural  commentary  with  humorous   imagery. Free. 505-523-1890.&nbsp;

  Another Road Home, directed by James Ivory, is 1 hour and 17
minutes long. Israeli-born director Danae Elon has a lot of questions.
 At least, that's as close as she gets to explaining what motivated
  her, an Israeli living in New York after 9/11, to seek out Mahmoud
 ''Musa'' Obeidallah, the Palestinian man who served as her family's
  caretaker. The father of 11 of his own children served her and her
 family for 20 years in a role that seemed to fall somewhere between
 babysitter and surrogate father. The purportedly enlightened child
  of liberal parents (her father is author Amos Elon), Danae is determined
    but naive; she seems shocked to discover that Musa has a family of
 his own &#8212; many of whom live in Paterson, N.J. &#8212; and that his real name
 is Mahmoud&#8230;. This film is not rated. Ticket prices: regular $6, students/seniors

  The White Countess, directed by James Ivory, is 2 hours and
18 minutes long. The final collaboration between director Ivory
 and producer Ismail Merchant, who died earlier this year, is a gorgeous
   slice of Merchant/Ivoryisms. Ralph Fiennes plays a blinded, fallen-from-grace
    American diplomat Todd Jackson. It&#8217;s Shanghai, 1936, in the heady,
  debauched days before the Japanese invasion would spoil everything
   for everyone, and Jackson casts his damaged lot with the city&#8217;s
underclass of equally bloodied but unbowed expat hookers, scoundrels,
and emotional refugees&#8230;.The script, by Kazuo Ishiguro (Remains of
the Day), echoes the great-grandaddy of wartime love, Casablanca. This
 film is not rated. Ticket prices: regular $6, students/seniors $5,
members,   children &amp; wednesday&#8217;s  $4. 505-524-8287.&nbsp;    www.fountaintheatre.org</font></small><br>

de Guadalupe, one block south of the Plaza. 7:30 pm nightly (Sunday
 matinee at 2:30 pm only). Paradise Now, written and directed by Hany
 Abu-Assad, is 1 hour and 30 minutes long. With its Palestinian&#8217;s-eye
 view of the Middle East conflict, Paradise Now, is a drama about life
 and death in the West Bank, and is indeed rare. Said and Khaled are
 Palestinian mechanics and best friends who live in Israel-occupied
 Nablus. While their days generally consist of benign activities like
drinking tea, they belong to a terrorist group, which chooses them
to carry out an attack in Tel Aviv. Feeling that life under Israeli occupation
 lacks dignity and that violence is the only way a Palestinian state can
 become reality, they embrace the chance to die for the cause&#8230;.This film
 is rated PG-13 for mature thematic material and brief strong language.
