Museum, 4100 Dripping Springs Road.&nbsp; Monday - Saturday
9 am - 5 pm, Sunday noon - 5 pm.&nbsp; Toys are the subject of
museum exhibit which brings out the kid in all of us. Exhibit will
occupy the museum&#8217;s north corridor. It explores our relationship
with toys. Many of the toys were loaned to the museum. Toys tell the
story of civilization in miniature. Practically every major scientific
discovery, every important historical event and every fancy in the
world of fashion has been mimicked in the realm of toys. Toys send messages
about the society that produces and uses them.&nbsp; They portray the
values and   attitudes   deemed appropriate   by adults for   children.&nbsp;
As these attitudes evolve, toys change to reflect new cultural ideas
and trends.&nbsp; The significance of a toy is best understood by
considering the context and attitudes of the time in which it was created.
Toys include dolls, furniture, trains, tractors, trucks, books, airplanes,
-animals and interactive activities for children. Admission is $3
for adults, $2 for senior citizens (60 and over), $1 for children ages
6 to 17.&nbsp; 505-522-4100.&nbsp; www.frhm.org</font></small><br>

        - Saturday 9 am - 5 pm, Sunday 12 noon - 5 pm. &nbsp;For
generations, their hand-tooled creations have connected
horse and rider. &nbsp; As both artists and craftsmen,
saddle makers designed and built a valuable tool that included
a unique artistic touch. &nbsp; The exhibit will feature
an old-fashioned saddle store with all types of tack, an
area where local saddle makers can demonstrate their craft,
an interactive area that includes children's activities and
show the steps to making a saddle, and an historic area that will
