Annual Virgin de Guadalupe Feast Day Celebration 2007
St. Genevieve’s Church, 100 S. Espina Street and St. Genevieve's Parish Hall on Las Cruces Street.  Everyone is invited to all festivities. December 10 and 11, 6 pm - 2 am: Bingo followed by a procession to the hall.  The purpose:  Velorio (rosary) for the Virgin de Guadalupe.  Also dancing by the Matachines (Los Danzantes) dancers. December 12, 7 am - 5 pm at the St. Genevieve's Church Hall.  Mass at 7 am. Lunch at 12 noon at the St. Genevieve's Hall. After lunch the dancing will continue until 5 pm.  There will be a mass and dancing will follow outside the church by the Piro-Manso-Tiwa Tribe of Guadalupe Pueblo and the Matachine (Los Danzantes) dancers. The Virgin de Guadalupe is kept in the church until New Years Day.  January 1, 2008, New Years Day at 2 pm, the Virgin de Guadelupe will be taken out in a procession and dancing will take place afterward.
